After we listed our house, I got a post card from Falcon Moving . I googled them, read the reviews, then called for a quote. David came out, figured that we would need two trucks, six movers, and 9.5 hours, and the estimate was lower than others I had gotten previously. Christian C, Kristian V, Hunter, Daniel, Patric, and Josh were amazing. They arrived on time, did a quick walk through to get the lay of the land, and were off and running. I especially appreciated how thoughtful they were in deciding the best way to get the big furniture items, including a video game arcade, out of our house and into the new one. They took great care in wrapping our furniture and were positive all day, even though it was pretty hot and there were a ton on stairs, especially at the new house. The move was done in about 9 hours, including taking apart then reassembling the bed, two secionals, two recliners, a three piece reclining sofa, and a large dining table. I cannot recommend Falcon Moving enough.

We moved on August 16th- Friday. My wife spoke with you htables would be covered, however not the case. All of our tableshave deep scratches and our dining room table is new. We packed boxes with bubble wrap and newspapers They were all marked as fragile and breakable but was ignored. I worked in a warehouse for 15 years and packing was one of my specialties, So many of our glass and crystal decorations were broken. I had a Dewatt Big kit with a drill and other components. Monday Josh, Patrick & Luis came by all energetic to move me. They had stairs on both ends of the move and just ran up them for 6 hours!! There was one room that had so much nostalgia in it that Luis helped me decide what to throw out & what to pack. Very help full for 75 years of pictures & memorable. Falcon has moved us twice! The first time was a local move and our original movers backed out at the last minute. Falcon saved us by scheduling us in (without extra fees) and got us moved with less than 1 week notice (during busy moving season nonetheless). The second time was an out of state move. We underestimated our items (we thought we could do it without a physical appraisal) and ran out of room in the truck! They came back the next day (we were out of state by then) and loaded the remaining items and cautiously loaded and wrapped our Gold Wing (yes we trusted them with it- they are that trustworthy) and brought the balance of our items to our new home. Shout out to Josh, Jordan, Luis, Daniel, Brian and all the other behind the scenes workers!

I have to say this company was great to work with! I had a slight emergency situation. Had a piano to load onto a trailer, however, the mover we hired never showed up. We were scheduled to head home in 12 hours and needed the piano loaded asap. I called Falcon and spoke to David. I explained my situation and he was able to accommodate the 2 hour turn around I needed to get this loaded so we could be on our way. I didn't get the names of the gentlemen who helped us, but truly appreciated that they were able to help us with only a 2 hour notice! We have more items that will need to be moved so we will definitely be calling them! Was also surprised to find out the fee was comparable to the original quote from the guy who didn't show up. Thank you for not taking advantage of my emergency situation.

Had to move fast due to change of plans. This company helped in 24- Hour notice. Professional and very friendly owner, he will work with you on any issues - very strong customer support. All items were very secure and arrived safely. Truck was newer and neat appearance. Movers were nice and polite. Only items I would suggest is pay on credit card, as handling cash second hand could have been an issue. As with any business always make sure to have it in writing prior to the move. Overall the move went very well. The loading crew of Alcides, Bryan, Hunter, and Richard did an amazing job. The loading took less time than expected and everything fit in the truck with room to spare. This allowed Richard, the driver, to arrive at the new house in a different state the evening before the scheduled time. And he did a great job helping with the unloading. Partly due to my lack of experience with such moves, and differences between local and out of state moves, there was some confusion about various things. But Jason was very accessible and all issues were clarified and the move went well. Thanks very much to everyone.

I have had two excellent experiences with Falcon!For the first one, I had a crew of two out to help me pack and move stuff around for staging my home. They were amazing.For the big move, I had a crew of 4 for over 8 hours! They were awesome! This was CJ’s crew.Both crews were super kind, courteous, worked extremely well together, worked safely and efficiently, and CJ was a wonderful leader.I’ll have one last crew tomorrow to complete my move and have no doubt that they will do a great job!They came highly recommended and the cost was excellent. Flacon Moving had been great since day one. We received a phone call with the estimate and they went over everything in great detail. Then the day before the move, they followed up asking for any changes being made and if we had any questions. On the day of the move, they were punctual, in fact they were early. Christian, Kristian and Andres couldn't have been any more helpful on my moving day. They were so fast and efficient, it was fascinating to watch them work, truly professionals. I was only moving 15 minutes away but they still treated my belongings as if I was moving cross country, wrapping everything in clean pads and then shrink wrapping and taping. They showed up on time, introduced themselves, explained what the plan was, asked if I had any questions or concerns and then got to work. I think it was Jordan who did the estimate with me and the time quoted came out just right so there were no surprises there either. Our crew was Luis, Alcides, and Daniel, they were so respectful to us and careful with our furniture and things! Everything was wrapped beautifully, no damage to anything. Had a great experience - they showed up 10 minutes early which was perfect for me, and were very easy to work with. They did a great job of taking care of my items and making sure they were where I wanted them to be upon entering the new location. The quote I was given was spot on for what I paid (for context I had everything packed myself and only had them take what was listed) and the move in total took 3 hours! Not a great experience with Falcon. Jason the owner seems very inexperienced when it comes to quoting and estimating your belongings and packing. He reached out multiple times wanting to know if he had estimated enough boxes (how would we know, he's supposed to be the experienced one here), which we didn't and they had to bring more. They charge from the moment the Truck shows up (according to the GPS) although guys are standing around, walking through the house, trying to get a lay of the land, etc. Same thing on the end, guys are hanging out while one guy folds moving pads, etc. yet the GPS says they are still there. The GPS does not record any time taken to stop for lunch or anything else, however. We were charged for Travel time on top of the Labor during transit also. When I brought these issues up to Jason he refused acknowledge any of these.I will say that the crew provided led by Christian (Kristian, Patrick, Luis, Daniel, Alcides, Vargas and Roberto) worked extremely hard. However the fact that they did not use any moving or "hump" straps, definitely slows them down. It's too bad that their effort is tarnished by an owner that seems to try to squeeze every nickel and dime out of his customers.

Falcon was outstanding to work with at every step of the moving process: from the initial phone call, to assessing and quoting, to communication ahead of the move, and the actual moving day. I was shocked by how fast the movers loaded and unloaded, and totally impressed by how thorough they were and careful to wrap and protect our furniture. Not a single item was damaged, they took great care of my large plants and antique pieces, and they even came in under budget! Their dispatch team was also in touch at several points in the day with updates. I can't say enough good things--while I don't plan on moving again any time soon, whenever I do, it will be with Falcon.

I wish I could leave a negative star. This is the worst moving company and move I've ever had. I had 95% of my items destroyed plus property damage. They did not plastic carpet or wear booties(new white carpet at new location); wrap vintage furniture(wood damage and scuffs); handle boxes marked fragile with care(smashed & damaged items); or anything else stated in the handouts or during the multiple walk through or assurances through email. It took over 2 years and filing a claim against them with the Illinois Commerce Commission and the threat of possibly court; in order to get them to honor the extra liability coverage I paid for them to handle my business and personal valuables. They will deny everything until the very last, take no culpability or responsibility and the owner has no ethics at all but is more concerned about how many bookings he can schedule in a day (how much money he can make) than about your items or honoring a contract. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Go with a big name mover you will be so much better off than being ghosted by amateurs.UPDATE: Even though the owner responded to this review, they neglected to mention that this could have been avoided at the start had they actually lived up to what they presented during the original contract, presentation and multiple onsite visits and emails as well as the addition purchase of liability insurance. He also neglected to mention that this is still an on-going issue over damages (his claim that they compensated me more than the move is incorrect as they compensated me the amount I took out in additional insurance (I would have taken out more had I known). I would assume that some things have changed since they let go all of the managerial staff I worked with at the time, however the overall responsibility of a BRAND and it's reputation lies in the owner and comes from the top down to it's employees. That has not changed at all from what I can tell. The owner still has no ethics, admits no responsibility yet blames "outside issues, or complications" when this is not the case. It is a perfect example of why to go elsewhere for your moving needs.
